PERFECT LOCATION
The apartment impresses with its great and sunny panoramic view directly above Schladming, right next to the sister houses of the Sun Lodge. Although very quiet, it is only a short walk away from the center and the Schladming’s party locations.
The entrance to the 4-mountain ski area Hauser Kaibling – Planai – Hochwurzen – Reiteralm and the cross-country skiing paradise Ramsau can be easily reached by bus. The departure is 100m away, directly at the Sun Lodge bus stop. Furthermore, hiking, running and cycling trails also pass directly by the house!

Schladming offers everything your heart desires. At the same time, it is one of the most popular winter skiing and hiking areas in Austria. The Schladming-Dachstein region offers wonderful slopes, the world-famous cross-country trails of the Ramsau and fantastic hiking trails (including Wild Waters). Additionally, it offers a varied sports and entertainment program. Guided ski tours and snowshoe hikes, (night) tobogganing, sleigh rides, winter hikes, bathing fun and wellness, après ski, bars and nightlife are just a few winter inspirations.
The region is especially known for its tasty and varied cuisine. In the mountain huts as well as in the locations in town, you can indulge several culinary delights. We are glad to recommend you various restaurants and unknown gems. Or you simply cook the regional delicacies yourself in the fully equipped kitchen.
In the warmer months of spring, summer and autumn, Schladming is everything else than an extinct winter resort. Hiking trails lead through breathtaking sceneries with varying difficulty. Some trails are walkable with a stroller and perfect with children. For others like ferratas, special hiking equipment, excellent condition and experience is recommended. And of course, there are many trails in between these two difficulties. Schladming is famous for its Mountain Bike Tours – with the support of an E-mountain bike, any tour is possible.
Lakes, rivers and waterfalls invite you to swim The golf courses are well maintained (including a Leading Golf Course Austria, designed by Bernhard Langer). At the Dachstein glacier you will find a suspension bridge, the Ice Palace and the staircase to nowhere – a 360 ° viewing platform made of glass. Summer toboggan runs, rafting, flying fox, traditional festivals or concerts are just a few more highlights of the summer months.
